Since I was a little girl I went to church every Sunday with my family;
it was a family affair – aunts, uncles and cousins- we all went.
I was an altar girl – I sang, I read at church every Sunday – and I loved it.
It wasn’t just a place of prayer, it was a place- for me- of unity.
As I got older and started forming my own opinions-
my views on the church changed and subsequently my attendance.
Having so many questions and not having any answers I became the “I am spiritual” type person.
It was easier to remain neutral.
I never lost my faith- I just needed a new method of exploring it.
While it took some time, I found it yesterday.
Whether it’s your relationship with religion, a friend or family member,
find who and what brings you peace of mind and heart.
Happy Monday!
