Apart from feeling like a bawse when you can press or lift a heavy weight well, strength training is amazing because it increases bone density, decreases your risk of injury, helps develop better body mechanics and helps you feel your best in your day-to-day life whether you’re carrying groceries or picking up your baby!

Guysssss... these are INSANE! 😍😍😍 I had t Guysssss... these are INSANE! 😍😍😍
I had the idea to make bolognese and make sloppy Joe’s two ways & this is my new favourite way to have them!

The crunch from the iceberg lettuce with the meat sauce, topped with soft avocado & fresh micro arugula is literally perfect! 
.
I’ll definitely be sharing this to the blog because it’s too good not to! 

P.s you can use whatever meat or protein you have/ like. I’m going to try making these again with beans or tofu!

Friday feels 💕 The week is done, I’m starti Friday feels 💕 

The week is done, I’m starting to feel like myself again (thank goodness) & I’m working on more recipes that I will be sharing on the blog including this amazing zucchini brownie!

It’s been a minute since I’ve given the blog any love; I actually revamped the entire site in October but was so caught up with other things that I didn’t even get to share! 

So I’m excited to get back to it & share all things wellness, from my favourite recipes, workouts, education on supplements, my favourite podcasts/ books and more!

I used to attach my worth to whether or not I was liked; I cared more about what others thought about me than I did myself. 
Truth is, I didn’t trust myself enough; sound familiar?
.
But it’s normal. We don’t want to “make mistakes”, disappoint our friends or family - we’re conditioned to please. 
.
And then one day you feel like you can’t anymore & you have to decide: keep living according to others or start living YOUR way. 
.
It wasn’t until I quit my job that I discovered that I could trust myself and live MY way. It was one of the scariest/ most exhilarating feelings I’ve had, but I knew without a doubt (even with the closest people to me doubting) that it was the BEST decision for ME. 

To this date, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made because I am living in my PURPOSE, helping women live & feel their BEST and it all started with TRUSTING MYSELF. 
.
So my question to you is... are you going to continue living in a way that pleases others or are you ready to live for YOU? 
.
What would you do if you stopped caring about what others thought?
